Trump Returns to D.C. on Older Air Force One After NATO Summit Over Security Concerns

President Trump departed the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, on the older Air Force One, which has missile countermeasures, instead of the new Qatari-gifted jet due to Secret Service security concerns amid tensions with Iran. He flew to RAF Mildenhall in England before switching to the Qatari jet for the final leg to Washington, D.C., landing around 1:30-2:00 AM local time. Trump stated the switch was for ‘old times’ sake’ and unrelated to security.
