The unprovoked attack happened Monday afternoon near West 41st Street and Seventh Avenue. Pamela Cisneros, 49, from Queens, stabbed a 68-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman; the woman died at Bellevue Hospital while the man is stable. Officers tried talking to Cisneros for four minutes and used Tasers, but she advanced with knives raised, leading two officers to fire their weapons. She had past mental health contacts with police but no arrests.
