The accident happened at a level crossing, where the train collided with the truck, which was loaded with rails. With the impact of the collision, the front windows of the train shattered.
Uninjured passengers were evacuated and taken by bus to a nearby station, police said.
The causes of the accident are not yet known, but the truck driver has been detained for questioning.
The Intercity Express (ICE) train was carrying 291 passengers at the time of the collision and was heading to Bremen in northwestern Germany.
