A King County judge on Tuesday rejected his request to lower the $5 million bail, citing flight risk and danger to victims, despite his lawyers’ claims of no prior record and lost assets. One victim testified to watching manipulation become normal, while prosecutors pointed to his jail calls directing family to move money.
