Saeed Salashoor, 39, followed the girl in Edge Hill on June 25, shouting his proposition until she recorded him on her phone. He pleaded guilty to inciting a child under 15 to sexual activity and was sentenced August 25 at Liverpool Crown Court to two years in prison, a 10-year sexual harm prevention order, and sex offender registration. The judge noted the girl’s ongoing fear of walking alone, while Salashoor blamed cannabis and called it a setup; the case drew frustration over the sentence and calls for deportation amid his prior convictions and rejected 2019 asylum claim.
