Colin Weir became one of the UK’s biggest lottery winners after winning £161 million in EuroMillions back in 2011.
But after he died in 2019, reports revealed he had spent around £50 million in just eight years on luxury homes, cars, charity, football, and helping people around him.
Some called it excessive. Others saw a man enjoying life and supporting causes he cared about. Either way, the story became a reminder that winning millions is one challenge… keeping them is another.
