You already know that you shouldn’t wear lace underwear very often. Right? Apart from that, you really should adopt some very beneficial habits. Need some advice? Shazia Malik, a gynecologist, quoted in the blog aggregator Huffpost, has listed five very simple ones that make all the difference. 

Tips for looking after vaginal health: 

  • “Change your underwear daily and whenever you are damp due to sweat, discharge or menstrual flow.” 
  • Try to sleep “without underwear to let the vulva breathe”;
  • “Avoid tight clothing that irritates”; 
  • “Use mild, fragrance-free detergents to wash your underwear”; 
  • “Consider taking a probiotic to maintain healthy vaginal flora”.
