A giant polar bear named Fat Albert has become an internet legend in Kaktovik.
Weighing nearly 1,500 pounds, Albert is far larger than the average polar bear and is often spotted enjoying whale meat left by locals away from residential areas .
Over the years, photographer Edward Boudreau helped make him famous online .
And despite his enormous size, many people see Fat Albert as a symbol of the unique relationship between humans and Arctic wildlife
