Providence Police announced the person of interest got flagged from a tip like any other, but this one hit the FBI’s radar, leading them straight to the guy for questioning.
“That one came in specifically identifying a person of interest, which was this individual.
And so we are detectives, just like the others, but this specific one was actually picked up by the FBI, and they followed through with it, and they ended up coming and locating this individual of interest.”
Reminder: He’s since been cut loose, with the real gunman evading capture after the deadly campus hit.
