Benjamin Erickson reportedly drove 17 hours from Wisconsin to Providence just yesterday before the rampage that killed 2 and wounded 9 in the engineering building during finals.

Though his LinkedIn mentions cyber warfare officer after UW-Madison grad.
No criminal record found, and he might have a past DC address from 2009.
Busted at a Hampton Inn in Coventry, miles away, with a Glock handgun, revolver, and 2 loaded 30-round mags seized, not a student or local.
Victim update: 8 are Brown students, 7 stable, 1critical but stable, 1 discharged.
Grainy footage shows a guy in dark clothes matching the description strolling away post-attack. Investigation’s “complex,” no charges yet, but FBI’s all in.
