FBI Director Christopher Wray revealed on Wednesday that he had doubts about whether what had hit Donald Trump during the attack on the 13th was a bullet or shrapnel.
The statements were made before the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives of the United States Congress.
“There are some doubts about whether it was a bullet or shrapnel that hit former President Donald Trump’s ear,” said the official.
These were statements that ‘moved’ those who heard it, given that the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, did not think this testimony was credible.
“We all saw the video. We saw the analysis done on the video, we heard several experts say that it was a bullet”, said Johnson, adding, however, that “I didn’t know if that matters that much”.
Johnson also left other criticisms, saying that the person responsible for the FBI did not “bring the information he expected”, and stated that there was some “concern and frustration with the agencies”.
Trump’s election campaign spokesman also tried to discredit Wray, saying that there were political interests for anyone who believed in these theories. Remember that Wray was appointed by Trump.
NBC News also recalls that Trump did not show any medical history and that the professionals who treated him refused to talk about the case.
