After completing the signing of Rafa Silva, Besiktas now seems determined to secure the arrival of another player who ends his contract with Benfica. Ángel Di María is the next wish and the Turkish club has already met with the representatives of the Argentine international who is currently in the USA, serving the team in the Copa América.
The information was revealed this Thursday by journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who explains that Brad Friedel was responsible for leading the meeting and informing Di María that financial requirements would not be a problem.
However, as revealed by the same Turkish journalist, the Besiktas representative’s biggest challenge is to convince Di María to agree to join a League with less visibility in Europe and live in Turkey.
