Former US President Donald Trump considered, this Monday, that the annulment of the trial in the case in which he was accused of withholding confidential documents after leaving the White House “should only be the first step”, having called for the archiving of the remaining cases pending before him, which he reiterated were a “witch hunt”.
“As we move forward in unifying our nation in the wake of Saturday’s horrific events, this filing of the Florida Wrongful Charge must be just the first step, quickly followed by the filing of ALL witch hunts,” he wrote on his social media site Truth Social.
The candidate for President of the United States referred to the “hoax” of the invasion of the Capitol, the “Manhattan District Attorney’s Zombie Case, the New York Attorney General’s Scheme, the False Allegations about a woman I never met (a decades-old photo in line with her then-husband doesn’t count), and the ‘Perfect’ Phone Call accusations from Georgia.”
Remember, Trump became the first former president in American history to be criminally charged, on May 31, in a case in New York in which he is accused of falsifying commercial documents during the 2016 campaign for cover up an alleged affair with pornographic actress Stormy Daniels.
Furthermore, the former head of state is accused in Washington DC for his attempts to reverse the results of the 2020 elections, in which he lost to the current President, Democrat Joe Biden, and faces similar accusations in Georgia for alleged attempts to influence the election results in that state.
“The Democratic Department of Justice coordinated ALL of these political attacks, which are an election interference conspiracy against Joe Biden’s political opponent, US. Let’s come together to PUT AN END to all the trappings of our Justice System, and ‘Make America Great Again!’” he concluded.
It should be noted that the judge responsible for the classified documents case rejected the entire process, this Monday, as she considered that the appointment of special prosecutor Jack Smith violates the Constitution.
In the decision, which represents a great victory for the former president who is a candidate for this year’s presidential election for the Republican Party, Judge Aileen Cannon responded to the defense lawyers’ request and rejected the case currently underway in the state of Florida.
This is the first time that one of the four criminal cases against Trump has been completely rejected, but prosecutors may still appeal the decision.
