A woman in Colombia was surprised after ordering a product on Amazon and receiving a lizard.
The story is told on X (formerly Twitter), by a woman identified as Sofia Serrano.
‘We ordered an air fryer from Amazon and it arrived with a mate,’ the woman began.
‘I don’t know if it was Amazon’s fault or the carrier’s. Good morning,’ she added.
Later the same day, the same woman blamed the company, explaining that the animal was ‘placed in the bag’ in which the air fryer was packed. ‘It’s very serious because one animal can have an impact on sanitary conditions,’ she added.
The post went viral, with more than four million views. ‘If it had happened to me, I would have died. On the other hand, I feel bad for the animal, it must have been scary for it,’ wrote one user.
