A video shows the moment a fisherman and his best friend caught a great white shark, which washed ashore on Hatteras Island, North Carolina, USA.
It happened on March 15th and the fisherman, Luke Beard, believes the shark measured around 4 meters and weighed more than 600 kg. In addition to these two men, five more joined them to help capture the predator and try to return it to the sea. According to The New York Post, this was a fight that lasted about 30 minutes.
This isn’t the first time the two friends have caught big fish. According to them, this is really their goal.
“This is what we like to do. This is our passion,” they say.
After the images were recorded, which you can see in the gallery below, the animal was reportedly returned to the sea.
