Paula Cisneros’ fight against cancer has come to an end. The 16-year-old girl, who suffered from Down Syndrome, died on Monday, victim of sarcoma.
Paula and her sister Sara became famous on social media. The first joined Instagram when she was just seven years old, with the help of her sister, to make the Syndrome she suffered from more visible and to prove that it did not stop her from doing what she wanted.
About a year ago, however, Sara felt the need to use these platforms to share the news she least wanted: her sister had been diagnosed with cancer.
His entire struggle was followed on social media by thousands of people. On Instagram, Paula had 600 thousand followers and on TikTok 2.3 million.
The news of her death was given by her sister. “From today on, our little girl, always with a big smile, can rest, smile, dance and sing without pain and without medication,” she wrote.
Paula suffered from sarcoma, a rare malignant tumor.
