Since January, Venâncio Mondlane has been fighting a “battle” to become the leader of RENAMO, Mozambique’s largest opposition party. His critics consider him a “dream seller”. But to DW, the politician refutes this idea and says he is an advocate of “opportunities for youth”. Mondlane is not a delegate to the RENAMO congress, scheduled for May, but he guarantees that he will attend, with or without an invitation.
