Wearing (or not wearing) socks during sex is a question that can generate discussions that can go on for hours. On one side are those who argue that wearing socks is not a problem at all. They prefer to have warm feet and care little or nothing about their image. This, in turn, is hated by those who believe that socks during sex are one of the biggest turn offs that can exist. And the truth is that you may change the way you view this issue when you discover the influence that socks have on female orgasm.
Several studies show that men have an easier time reaching orgasm. Now, a study carried out by the University of Groningen, in the Netherlands, reveals a tip that could make it easier for women to orgasm. To do this, all they need to do is keep their socks on. And if you don’t like women keeping their socks on, you’d better take a look at the figures from the study carried out by the team of researchers at the Dutch university.
Socks can increase the likelihood of women reaching orgasm by up to 60%.
The study reveals that women who wear socks during sex increase their chances of reaching orgasm during intercourse by 60%. And the test was quite simple. The couples who took part in the study started by having sex completely naked. At the end, 5 out of 10 women confessed to having orgasm. Then, each woman was given a pair of socks to wear during the next intercourse. And the number of women who reached orgasm rose to 8 out of 10.
The researchers explain that the socks warm the feet, which gives rise to physical and emotional comfort. This in turn relaxes the amygdala and the prefrontal cortex, two brain areas that are related to anxiety. And it is important not to forget that anxiety is one of the main enemies of orgasms. By eliminating this anxiety, the path is clear for climax.
