The president of OnePlus in China, Louis Lee, confirmed in a post on the Chinese social network Weibo that we are (very) close to seeing the brand’s new top-of-the-range device.
Lee noted that the OnePlus 13 will be officially announced this October, adding that the device will represent a considerable evolution in terms of performance. It is highly likely that the device will be equipped with Qualcomm’s next high-performance processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
“With the latest Snapdragon processor, the OnePlus13 has taken a ‘big leap’ in both performance and overall fluidity, reaching a level never before seen on Android,” wrote the executive.
Note that, initially, the OnePlus 13 will only be announced for the Chinese market. The arrival in other territories should be revealed at a later date.
