This Monday, Sporting officially renewed the professional contract of Lucas Anjos, a striker who is now in his 11th season with the club.
“Ever since I arrived at Sporting I’ve been aware of the responsibility, which is even greater now, so it’s about continuing to work to repay the commitment,” said Lucas Anjos, speaking to the green and white club’s media.
Last season, for Sporting’s B team, Lucas Anjos, 20, played eight games and scored two goals. For the under-23s, he played 18 games and scored three goals.
