South Sudan is to receive a 13 billion dollar loan from a United Arab Emirates company in exchange for cheap oil prices.
The agreement will allow the Dubai company to access oil at a reduced price for up to 20 years, with South Sudan receiving 10 dollars less per barrel than the global price. This is one of the biggest oil-for-money deals in history, and the United Nations is paying close attention. #DWAfrica
