The last few days have been marked by several announcements from OpenAI and, to close the year on a high note, the company responsible for ChatGPT announced that it intends to soon launch a new model of its Artificial Intelligence (AI).
This new model goes by the name of o3 and will also be accompanied by the o3-mini. OpenAI co-founder and CEO Sam Altman said the o3-mini will arrive “near the end of January” in 2025, with the o3 expected to arrive “shortly after that.”
Naturally, you can expect better performance from this new generation, but since it is not yet among us, we will have to wait for the usual tests to know what the new capabilities of this model are.
