Japanese company Elecom has just received certification for its first USB4 2.0 standard cables, which will allow you to enjoy higher transfer speeds.
Tom’s Guide reports that the company will launch two versions of these USB4 2.0 cables in December. Elecom says that the first version will allow a transfer rate of 80Gbps and a charging capacity of 60W. The second, on the other hand, will allow charging at 240W (48V/5A).
Unfortunately, these cables will first be available in Japan, but it’s believed that they won’t take much longer to reach other territories.
