A study reveals that the percentage of men who have not had a romantic sexual encounter in the last year has risen from 18.9 to 30.9%.
There are many ideas related to sexuality that are wrong and the following is one of them. Many believe that men in their late teens and early adulthood are only concerned with sex. However, a recent study destroys this idea. It reveals that what really interests them are video games.
This is the result of a study carried out by the State University of New York and Rutgers University, both located in the United States. The study involved 2,000 young men and women and came to the conclusion that the percentage of people who had not had a romantic sexual encounter in the last year rose from 11.7% to 15.2%.
Both women and men highlight drinking as an obstacle to their sex life
According to the data published in The Telegraph, in the male age group between 18 and 24, the percentage rose from 18.9% to 30.9%. For women, the biggest factor behind the decrease in sex in their lives is drinking. This is also the main factor for men. Second place is taken by video games. Also noteworthy is the fact that 10% of men assume that they live with their parents and that this is an obstacle to dating and sexual encounters.
