The Christmas spirit is already found everywhere and, believe it or not, the Christmas season is also felt in ‘Fortnite’ – which also features Mariah Carey and her iconic theme ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’.
A few days ago, ‘Fortnite’ players had noticed the appearance of a white blanket across much of the map, with a block of ice near the center having been interpreted by many as the imminent arrival of the singer. Expectations were not disappointed and Maria Carey’s appearance served to ‘kick off’ Winterfest 2024 in the online game.
This event will run until January 7th and will allow players to acquire a series of items to use in the game, such as the Santa Dogg Outfit (a ‘skin’ of Snoop Dogg wearing a Santa Claus costume) and also an ’emote’ that allows you to dance to the sound of ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’.
