A 43-year-old man fractured his penis during sex with a woman after a toothbrush he had inserted into his genitals broke, according to the DailyMail.
Despite the pain, he didn’t seek medical help until 12 hours later. Once the diagnosis was made, the man underwent a two-hour operation at the Soetomo Academic General Hospital in East Java, Indonesia, to repair the fracture.
According to the man himself, when questioned by the medical team about what had happened, he told them that in 2017 he had undergone minor surgery to place a toothbrush in his genitals with the aim of having greater “sexual satisfaction”.
Three days after the surgery, the patient was discharged. There were no other complications.
