Joppatowne Shooter SLAMMED: 80-Year Lockup for School Terror

A Harford County court sentenced Jaylen Prince, 17, to life in prison with all but 75 years suspended for the 2024 bathroom shooting death of 15-year-old Warren Grant at Joppatowne High School.

Prince was also handed 20 years on a weapons charge, with all but five years suspended, to run consecutively — bringing his total effective sentence to 80 years.

He’ll be eligible for parole after serving roughly 40 years under Maryland’s juvenile sentencing rules.
