Apple ‘beat’ Samsung in sales in the first quarter of this year. This morning, Counterpoint shared the list of the 10 best-selling smartphones in the first months of 2024.
According to the pplware website, the first four places were taken by the iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 14. This was followed by the top-of-the-range Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in 5th place.
It was followed by the Galaxy A15 5G (6th place) and the A54 (7th place). In eighth place was the iPhone 15 Plus, followed by the Galaxy S24 and the A34.
According to Counterpoint’s calculations, sales of the iPhone Pro model generated more than 60% of Apple’s smartphone revenues. The company also highlights the increase in the number of sales of Pro versions, which in 2020 represented 24% of iPhone sales, while in the first quarter of 2024 they represent more than 50% of sales.
