The Public Prosecutor’s Office (MP) has accused former Sp. Braga boxer Eduardo Cameselle of leading a network of 21 defendants who, between the end of 2022 and October 2023, trafficked in cocaine, cannabis and MDMA in Barcelos.
The group is charged with crimes of criminal association and drug trafficking.
According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the scheme was led by the ex-boxer and his girlfriend, who had the support of the woman’s brother and mother. The drugs were given to other people who arranged for dealers to sell them.
The trafficking network operated out of Eduardo Cameselle’s boxing gym in Barcelos.
