The executive producer of ‘What If…?’, Brad Winderbaum, confirmed on the official Marvel podcast that the animated series will come to an end with the third season.
Although the third season of ‘What If…?’ does not yet have a release date, the executive says that the next episodes will be “the completion of a trilogy” that will go “beyond the first two seasons in exploring the multiverse”.
It’s worth remembering that this animated series had its first season in 2021 and seeks to explore alternative Marvel universes, i.e. what would happen if superheroes like Captain America or Doctor Strange took different paths.
