• The 4×4 phase will last 7 days, from Wednesday (12/04) to Wednesday (12/11), including the weekend.
• Activities will take place from 8 am to 3:30 pm and from 9 pm to 10 pm.
From 8 am to 3:30 pm:
• Total shutdown: cars, buses and other means of transportation must remain parked.
• Everyone must stick posters on their vehicles or on their clothing (front or back).
• Gathering in the neighborhoods and main avenues that provide access to the neighborhoods.
• Students in gowns and professionals in uniforms representing their professions will participate.
• Activities include singing the national anthem and the African anthem, forming lines or circles holding hands to demonstrate unity.
• Young people with cell phones and drones should record images of the largest lines or circles.
From 9pm to 10pm:
• Replacing pots with whistles and vuvuzelas, in response to complaints from mothers about damage to utensils.
Additional measures:
• Closing of all Frelimo headquarters and blocking of borders and tolls.
• Cancellation of flights.
• Suspension of classes.
• Recommendation for promoters to cancel all events until further notice.
• No parties and no New Year’s Eve this year
