Cape Verde Selects Nine ‘Startups’ for Web Summit Lisbon

Cape Verde selected nine ‘startups’ to take to the Web Summit Lisbon conference, in November, in which the country participates for the fourth consecutive year, announced the public agency for promoting the digital sector in the archipelago.

“Participation is part of the #GoGlobal program”, which aims to promote the country “as a rising digital platform, establish strategic partnerships, develop new skills and absorb the latest trends in the technological sector”, announced Cabo Verde Digital.

Among the Cape Verdean innovations selected will be Talent Play, which uses interactive games to recruit employees, Medkey, a telemedicine and medical data management platform, Digi, a scheduling service for beauty salons, and Faxi Faxi, an application mobile ordering system, with insurance and home collection options.

Also part of the delegation traveling to Lisbon are the Kultura Geral projects, dedicated to online courses for CPLP, the Lentilhas platform, to connect audiovisual service providers, Nebua Cloud, online digital services, CVX, a sales tool, and CV Branding, digital marketing.

“This year, Cape Verde will have a delegation of around 30 people”, informed Cabo Verde Digital.

This year’s edition of the Web Summit, between November 11th and 14th, will have a record 2,750 ‘startups’ and more than 70 thousand people are expected, in a ‘summit’ that will focus on promoting “meaningful” connections through meetings Powered by Motor Summit.
