Blake Lively Sues Justin Baldoni For Harassment

Blake Lively has sued Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment. The information comes from the TMZ website, in an article published this Saturday (21). The two actors worked together on the hit film It Ends With Us, where they play a couple.

In the lawsuit, Blake exposed the allegations of harassment and stated that Justin, who also worked as the film’s director, made a “coordinated effort” to destroy her reputation.

The actress even held a meeting with the film crew to address what she claimed was a “hostile work environment”. At the time, Ryan Reynolds, Lively’s husband, was present at the occasion.

Blake gave the crew a list of demands that she wanted to be met, which included: no more showing videos or images of naked women to Blake; no more mentioning Baldoni’s alleged previous “pornography addiction”; no more discussing sexual conquests in front of Blake and others; no more mentioning the genitals of the cast and crew; no more asking about Blake’s weight; and no more mention of Blake’s dead father.

According to the lawsuit, she also demanded that there be no more sex scenes or oral sex, other than what had already been approved when the actress signed on to the project.

The demands were accepted by the studio, but there was a major conflict over how they would be marketed. Blake wanted a more optimistic narrative about her character’s resilience as a victim of domestic violence, while Baldoni wanted the focus to be on the violence.

The actress claims in the lawsuit that Baldoni has begun a campaign to destroy her reputation. The lawsuit includes texts sent from the actor’s publicist to the studio’s publicist that say Baldoni “wants to feel like [Ms. Lively] can be buried.”

Justin’s defense, led by attorney Bryan Freedman, claimed that the lawsuit was created by Lively to “repair her negative reputation,” and said the allegations are “false, outrageous and intentionally obscene with the intent to publicly hurt.”
