Apple’s New Wireless Headphones Could Have Two Versions

Apple plans to announce its new wireless headphones – the AirPods 4 – at its annual event in September, with Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman reporting that these new models will have two different versions.

It seems that these two versions of the AirPods 4 will replace the AirPods 2 (from 2019) and the AirPods 3 (from 2021). The information available indicates that these two versions will have identical designs, with the major differentiating element being active noise cancellation – which will (allegedly) be absent from the more modest version.

Apple has not yet officially confirmed the existence of this presentation event but, given that the ‘Apple Company’ usually organizes one in September, it is likely that this year this ‘tradition’ will continue.
