Angola reportedly paid $12 million to attract world champion Argentina to the 50th anniversary of the African country’s independence from Portugal. What is really wrong with African countries, in a country like Angola where 52.9% of Angolans live on less than $3.65 per day. They collected over $12 million just to waste on one football match, a country below poverty line.
