The Angolan President today dismissed the Minister of State for Social Affairs, Dalva Ringote Allen, who will be replaced by Maria do Rosário Bragança, who until now held the portfolio for Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
In a note released by the presidency’s press services, “convenience of service” was cited as the reason for the resignation of the economist, who had been appointed to the post in September 2022.
There is no mention of who will replace Maria do Rosário Bragança in the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
The Angolan chief executive also decided to replace the governors of five provinces, two of whom were reappointed, but in other provinces.
Mara Quiosa is leaving Cabinda to replace Job Capapinha in Kwanza Sul, while Pereira Alfredo is leaving Bié to become governor of Huambo, from where Lotti Nolika is leaving.
Susana Massiala de Abreu has been appointed to Cabinda and Celeste Adolfo will join her in Bié.
Filomena Miza Aires will be the new governor of Lunda Norte province, replacing Deolinda Vilarinho.
