Apple has announced that it plans to launch a feature for its iPhones and iPads that will equip these devices with eye-tracking, making it possible to use them with just your gaze.
The Cupertino technology company explains that this feature has been created using Artificial Intelligence and designed especially for people with motor disabilities, making it possible to use the phone and tablet without hands or with the help of accessories. All you have to do is move the course with your eyes, accessing specific applications by fixing your gaze on the one of your choice.
Note that this feature will be available to all iPhone and iPad users by the end of the year, and it’s likely that we’ll get a demonstration as early as next June during the annual WWDC event with the presentation of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18.
