Seen as one of the great talents of the Portuguese league, João Neves has managed to stand out in a list that includes some of the biggest names in U-20 world soccer. According to a report revealed by the CIES Football Observatory, the 19-year-old Benfica midfielder is the most used player in the world.
The analysis covers the period between April 23, 2023 and the same date this year. During this time, João Neves played 4,905 minutes over 58 matches. This includes 11 games played for the national teams (U-21 and senior), in which he scored one goal. For the Reds, he scored four goals and made one assist.

João Neves stands out in a list that includes Warren Zaire-Emery (PSG), Garnacho (Manchester United) and Lamine Yamal (Barcelona). And Pau Cubarsí (Barcelona) and Endrick (a Palmeiras player already signed by Real Madrid).
