Thania Cristina dos Santos, a 36-year-old from Brazil, was arrested on October 6 after arriving from Brazil when officers found the drugs hidden in seven toiletries bottles.
She told investigators a man named ‘G’ recruited her online, promising $50,000, a free ticket, and hotel stay for delivering to a Bali contact.
Under Indonesia’s strict laws, she faces life in prison or the death penalty and remains in custody while cooperating with police; her lawyer says the case could take up to 18 months.
