Round Rock Man Fatally Stabbed During Random Attack at Local Park

The 62-year-old research engineer and avid wildlife photographer was attacked on Sept. 7 near Chandler Creek Trail in Round Rock, Texas. Surveillance video captured 26-year-old Benedict Ogbodiegwu Jr. wrapping an arm around Wimsatt, stabbing him multiple times, and sawing at his neck before fleeing. Authorities arrested Ogbodiegwu that night on a first-degree murder charge, calling it a random act with no prior connection; he’s held on $1 million bail. Online posts have highlighted his prior dismissed charges and sparked talk about repeat offenders and court mental health evaluations.

Let’s check in on Round Rock, Texas (near Austin), where 26-year-old sub-Saharan African Benedict Ogbodiegwu Jr. just allegedly murdered a White man, 62-year-old Andrew James Wimsatt.

Andrew liked to sit at the park and take photos that he shared on his IG. Around 11am, Wimsatt was sitting on a park bench when Ogbodiegwu began attacking him with a knife. Ogbodiegwu wrapped his left arm around Wimsatt and started viciously stabbing him. Wimsatt tried to push him off but failed.

Ogbodiegwu continued stabbing Wimsatt several times before Wimsatt fell to the ground. Ogbodiegwu then got on top of the victim and started visibly sawing Wimsatt’s neck with the knife before running away toward the park’s pool area.

The attack happened at Chandler Creek Park and was captured on a nearby security camera.

That video will never be released to the public and will stay hidden forever so as not to alarm White people.
