Hungary’s Péter Magyar: “No Arms, No Troops to Ukraine” at NATO Summit

Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar announced at the NATO summit in Ankara that Hungary will continue providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine but will not supply weapons or troops. He described Ukraine as the victim and Russia as the aggressor, reaffirmed Hungary’s commitment to NATO unity, and noted plans for a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy soon. Magyar also stated Hungary’s defense spending will reach 5% by 2035.
