The 20-year-old sophomore from Alabama was remembered as “a bright light” during a Sunday service at her hometown church.
Ella Cook was described as a devoted Christian and committed conservative, known for her faith and conviction on campus.
She was among several victims shot Saturday at Brown University in a still-developing tragedy.
Alabama’s governor called her loss “a bright future ended much too soon.”
