Just two months after his early October release from a three-year sentence on a gun charge, Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty released ‘FDO’ on December 12, produced by TP808. The gritty video shows luxury cars, money piles, and a pointed lyric jabbing Lakers rookie Bronny James about living in his dad LeBron’s shadow, complete with Lakers jerseys and father-son photos. It quickly topped U.S. Apple Music’s rap chart and hit No. 2 on iTunes, earning nods from Young Thug, GloRilla, and others who praised its post-prison energy.
