Britney Spears has been involved in new controversies since she made her relationship with Paul Soliz public. Several controversies have already come to light, including revelations from his ex-wife, Nicole Manchilla. Among the accusations, she claims that Paul cheated on her with the singer and also does not pay child support, in addition to his extensive criminal record.
Who is Paul Soliz?
According to Page Six, Paul Soliz was hired about two years ago to perform domestic tasks for Britney Spears, such as cleaning bathrooms and collecting trash, and was fired shortly after. After the end of her marriage to Sam Asghari, she was first seen alongside the former employee in his car in August last year.
Shortly afterwards they appeared hand in hand and confirmed their romance. Soon, fans pulled up the blonde’s boyfriend’s history and discovered that he has several problems with the authorities. In 2014, Paul was convicted of disturbing the peace and charged with child endangerment, although the charge was dismissed.
In 2016, Paul was also convicted of driving without a license, although an additional charge of driving with a suspended license was dismissed. In 2022, he was also convicted of criminal possession of a firearm. Outside of court, the POP Princess’s boyfriend is accusing his ex-wife, Nicole Manchilla.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Nicole stated that her ex-husband, Paul, cheated on her with the singer and that he does not pay child support to the five children they have together: “My husband fell for Britney Spears’ ass. He was married and now denies his children. He neglects his children because of her”, said the ex-wife of the blonde’s new boyfriend, who would also be acting as her security guard and proxy.
Nicole’s mother also revealed that Soliz has other heirs: “He has 10 children and doesn’t support any of them. He has a one-year-old baby and he doesn’t even get attention,” she said angrily. Despite the revelation, Page Six stated that he has nine heirs and had access to documents that reveal an outstanding amount of around R$5,000 in child support for at least three children.
Also during the interview, his ex-wife stated that he is living in the star’s house to avoid legal problems, but that he officially maintains his old address: “He’s on probation, so if he officially lives in her house, they (the police) have access to search the premises. That’s why he still has an address here,” Nicole pointed out.
