Elton John said he lost vision in his right eye in July. The revelation was made by the 77-year-old musician himself, in an interview he gave this week on the program ‘Good Morning America’. Her vision loss was due to an infection she contracted while spending the summer in the south of France.
“It caught me off guard, I can’t see anything. I don’t read anything, I don’t even watch programs,” he explained.
The musician says there is hope that he will be fine, however, he is having difficulty recording the new album.
Elton John made it known that he also doesn’t see very well in his left eye, which makes it impossible for him to read song lyrics, for example.
“I am improving, but it is an extremely slow process and it will take time for vision to return to the infected eye,” he added.
It is worth remembering that the first time the singer spoke about this problem was in September.
