The company responsible for some of the most widely used top-of-the-line processors in the mobile phone market, Qualcomm, has announced that it will hold a special event on April 2.
As the GSMArena website reports, there is speculation that this event will serve to present a new version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite – namely a more ‘modest’ version aimed at mobile phones aimed at the upper mid-range segment.
It is also believed that this new processor will be the successor to last year’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and that the first phones to take advantage of it will be launched at the end of April.
